Work in Progress GIFs
On our Discord server, I have my animator's post their shots as they ask for my feedback. I will let them know about what I am looking for, and parts that stand out to me. But if there seems to be a confusion on my instructions I take the show, gray it out and make notes on it for placements and movements.
The flying car shot had multiple takes on it, since there was a bit of confusion since the background is not done for that shot yet. My animator and I struggled to communicate over the care placements, so I had to draw over the shot to try and show what the idea I had in my head and I wanted to convey.
Work in Progress Videos
So I send my animators the shots of what I need for the trailer. The trailer is only 1 min long, but it is created from 4 mins worth of shots from the full 8-9 min pilot. The rough audio is placed with it, as I have my animators play with the shots. They submit in their shots, and I redirect them, on the first video, I redirected where the officer's hands needed to go, while on the second video I had more of the character's neck add to the beginning of the shot.
The crew is very accomodating, and they have really outdone themselves!
