Mood Board
The mood board were quick images I had found for my background artists to get the feel and setting for Ciruwasa, the futuristic Crime-ridden city. I want to capture the purpley and blue tones to bring life into the neo-dystopian world. My background artists were able to follow along with the mood boards, giving me the lower gritty streets as the upper city landscape is lit up and bright. I found that many background freelance artists I had spoken to, enjoyed something a little outside their comfort. With the futuristic neon lit city, they got to play around with it more and express themselves.

Concept Art
I had started the concept art back in July 2019 when I was staying back in my hometown for 3 months tending to my Grandmother who had just broken her hip. During her late-night television viewings I had a basic idea I wanted for a Futuristic sci-fi cartoon that would also lead into Horror later on. But I drafted sketches of our Protagonist Rufus, and the secondary character Psy. In November I had drafted the first script then managed to create most of the concept art during my break in December when I was not at work. After the concept was done I outsourced on twitter to find some talented artists that would want to partake in the full pilots storyboard and I then met Yohan. (https://twitter.com/YAuroux) a talented storyboard artist who had seen my request on twitter. Having discussed my goal with this project, we discussed a budget and we both went to work. I had created a rough thumbnailing of the shots I was looking for from the script.
I outsourced other artists because I wanted to one make networking options for myself that I feel I couldn't do properly in school, and two I wanted to support many talented artists that were freelancing and looking for a gig or a chance to work on a scifi cartoon. I found that budgetting is hard, and I don't want to underpay any of my artists. So I have asked what they were comfortable being paid, and I've been making notes. And while there is not an official budget I am making notes from their pricings for when I start up a Kickstarter / Patreon I will know roughly about how much I should be asking for, to complete this episode after the Trailer.
